Happy Dog FAQ's
Why is Happy Dog unique from others in the marketplace?
We are unique in the marketplace because we create our medicine with a CBD FECO instead of industrial hemp. FECO stands for Fully Extracted Cannabis Oil. Fully extracted cannabis oil means the medicine is extracted from a cannabis plant. HEMP means just that, it was extracted from a hemp plant.
Even though they are sister/brother plants, they do not yield the same cannabinoids molecular structure. Hemp is the workhorse, the male plant. It is high in fiber, which is why it is great for things like rope, flue, housing materials and antioxidants. Cannabis is the medicine, the female flower yielding plant. The cannabinoid structure in the cannabis plant is higher because of its flowering properties. It is for this reason we choose to make our CBD FECO medicine out of cannabis.
Over the last few years our growers have cross pollinated the hemp plant with a cannabis plant and have created a high CBD yielding, low THC plant. This plant is proprietary to our parent company Firebird Touch Therapy. By using this hybrid we are able to get the highest CBD panel possible with the lowest amount of THC allowing the user to benefit by feeding their nerve system via the endocannabinoid system while not experiencing the “Loopy” out of control feeling some mammals speak of.
We are confident that once you use HAPPY DOG CANNAMEDS, you will see your fur babies of all ages improve exponentially within approximately 7 to 10 days.
What is it and how is it made?
Our CBD / FECO (Fully Extracted Cannabis Oil) is made from organic high CBD cannabis flowers and extracted with organic Ethanol. Once all the alcohol is removed it undergoes a second extraction where all of the impurities and chlorophyll are removed leaving only the cannabinoids essential for healing. Our product is grown at a licensed FDA approved hemp farm.
What is it good for?
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), has published testimonials of pet owners who endorsed cannabis use and who claim its use has dramatically improved the quality of life and mobility in animals that were previously unable to ambulate. More over, cannabis has improved appetite and reduced the reliance on conventional medications, particularly in animals that are intolerant to those drugs.
